Refund policy
Late delivery: full refund
We promise your Kit within five Washington business days of the day your intake is complete (as defined in the terms). If we miss that date, you get a full refund of what you paid, and you keep whatever we have delivered. You do not need to ask; we will refund within seven days of the missed date. If you would rather have the Kit late than the refund, tell us and we will finish it.
Cancelling before your intake is complete: full refund
Changed your mind, or found your building is not Tier 2? Email us before your intake is complete and we refund in full.
Cancelling after your intake is complete, before delivery
Drafting starts the day your intake is complete. If you cancel after that but before delivery, we refund the price less a [$150] drafting fee.
After delivery
Once the Kit has been delivered on time, the price is not refundable, because the work has been done and the documents are yours. One round of corrections is included (see the terms). If something in the Kit is wrong because of our error, we will fix it; if we cannot, we will refund in proportion to the part affected.
Not covered
Refunds are not given because Commerce asks for corrections, delays or declines a filing, because an incentive is reduced or unavailable, or because a Qualified Energy Manager asks for changes. Those outcomes are outside our control; the Kit is a set of drafts for your review.
How refunds are paid
To the card you paid with, through Stripe, in US dollars. Banks usually show the refund within five to ten business days.
